A Registered Agent is a licensed corporate service provider authorised by RAK ICC to incorporate and administer companies on behalf of clients. All RAK ICC companies are required by law to maintain a Registered Agent at all times.
Agent Responsibilities
- Act as intermediary between the client and RAK ICC
- Provide a registered office address for the company
- Submit and manage incorporation applications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date company records
- Ensure compliance with RAK ICC regulations and KYC requirements
- Facilitate annual renewals and corporate amendments
Agent Requirements
- Must be a licensed corporate service provider or law firm
- Must pass RAK ICC's due diligence and compliance assessment
- Must maintain adequate AML/KYC policies and procedures
- Must maintain professional indemnity insurance
